The Cusco region is one of the most beautiful and attractive parts of Peru. DAY 1 - CUSCO CITY
The first day after arriving to Cusco you will have a light schedule so as to acclimatize to the high altitude (around 3 400 m.a.s.l.). Depending on the arrival time, half-day Cusco city tour will be arranged to visit the Saqsaywaman and surrounding ruins as well as the museum of Koricancha situated in Cusco city.

DAY 2 - PISAC AND PATACANCHA VALLEY
The Sacred Valley, also known as the Valley of Urubamba, is unique. It offers not only breathtaking landscapes, but Peruvians believe it is full of positive energy. Here is where you find ruins from the Inca Empire, which are viewed as the most important and strategic in the entire region and also the country. You can spend many days discovering new entities in this part of the Cusco region. There are two important and very beautiful towns in the Sacred Valley which we will see and explore – Ollantaytambo and Pisac.
During this day you will have a chance to explore cosy town of Pisac, as well as the ruins situated just above the city. Besides the lovely market you will also learn here about the history of the Inca Empire as well as about Peru in general.
You will start the tour early in the morning, around 7:00 am. First on the agenda is a visit to a small zoo where the Peruvian animals include: jungle birds, llamas, alpacas, vicunas and condors. You will have an unique opportunity not only to see all of these animals in one place, but also be very close to them. Next you will visit Pisac where you can explore the town center and local, colourful market. The tour also includes visiting the Incas ruins situated just above the town. From Pisac you will travel directly to Patacancha Valley where you will meet with local communities living in the high Andes. You will spend with them all afternoon as well as the morning during the third day.

DAY 3 - PATACANCHA VALLEY - OLLANTAYTAMBO
Today, you will wake up around 7:30 am, eat delicious local breakfast, in the local atmosphere, after which we will strat a lightweight and comfortable trekking through the valley Patacancha to the beautiful Inca town of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon we will visit the Inca ruins in Ollantaytambo as well as we will have time to walk around through lovely streets of this amazing town. You will also have unique opportunity to participate in the preparation of the local dish called Pachamanca. It is one of the most famous dishes in the Andes, so you just have to try it – but not only. You will also see how it is made. After lunch in the garden with the view of the mountains, you will go by train to Aguas Calientes in late afternoon, from where the next day you will explore the most spectacular Inca ruins – Machu Picchu.

DAY 4 - MACHU PICCHU
During this day you will have possibility to explore Machu Picchu from many diferent points. Inside the ruins there are many options available to you. You can hike one of the two small peaks, Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, or walk to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and/or Inca bridge. Once you’ve completed your Machu Picchu adventure you will take afternoon train return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have dinner. Later on in the evening you will return to small but lovely town Chinchero.

DAY 5 - CHINCHERO - MARAS - MORAY - SALIENRAS
Today you are going to have full-day tour which is awesome and unforgettable adventure. You will explore Inca archaeological spots situated near Cusco, the unique salt mine, mystical agricultural terraces as well as you will have an interesting lesson of textiles and a meeting with local communities. You will be positively surprised at how many things there are to do and possible to explore in just one day as well as how rich in the experiences and knowledge about history, culture and traditions you will become.
We will start the day around 6:30 am. After breakfast we will visit the Inca ruins of Chinchero and afterwards we will particpate in a very nteresting lesson about the local textiles of the region.
After Chinchero, you will explore the archaeological site of Moray, containing unusual Inca ruins, consisting of several enormous terraced circular depressions.
From Moray we continue to the next destination – Maras. We will take a short pause in this small town and learn about the production of the popular Andean beverage, chicha de jora (corn beer). We will also walk around, because the streets of Maras are more than lovely.
Salineras de Maras
After Maras we continue the tour towards the incredible salt ponds, Salineras de Maras, that are still in use and have been since the Inca times. We will go there on foot. It will be around 1 hour long easy and very relaxing trek with the view for the spectacular Cordillera Uubamba. In the salt mines you will have a chance to walk through more than 3000 salt ponds and learn about the production of salt.
After full day of different atractions, around 6 -7 pm we will arrive to Cusco. You will still have some hours for discovering the nightlife of this beautiful city.

DAY 6 - CUSCO CITY
It is a free day in Cusco city. Depends on your time of departure you can choose to take a rest or explore all possible important spots, like San Pedro local market and lovely, full of artists San Blas disrict.

Our tours are customized for small group starting from minimum 2 persons and maximum 12 persons. The price shown in this itinerary is applied 2-4 persons.

All accommodations are done in double rooms unless you ask for single room (with extra-cost).
Breakfast are generally included in the accommodation.
To allow the freedom of food option, lunch and dinner are not included in the tour, except lunch in Day 3. However, upon your request, we can arrange lunch and dinner with additional cost.
Some details of the tour may change depending on weather conditions, physical condition of the participants and other unpredictable things, like for example strikes.
Our prices are normally “all inclusive” as far as possible. Nevertheless, some excursions, visits or activities cannot be included in order to give you more freedom and to adapt to each traveler.
Please read carefully the “Included” and “Not included” information in the “DETAILS” tab of the tour, and also the details of the “ITINERARY” tab that provides more information about optional excursions, visits or activities.
The prices of our tours may vary in high season (April to November) when some rates can increase.
For Machu Picchu, there is a discount of USD$20 for students who send us the scan of their ISIC card by email during the booking process and who then bring the original, valid ISIC card with them for the trip (without valid ISIC card, you would not only loose the discount but also the possibility to explore the ruins since you would not get permission to entrance). There is another discount of USD$20 for Peruvians and another USD$10 for Peruvian University students. Peruvian citizens have to indicate DNI number during booking process and to bring valid DNI for the tour. Peruvian students have to send a scan of their student card during booking process and bring valid document with them for the tour. In both above mentioned situations, if you do not show the valid document(s) at the entrance to Machu Picchu, you will not get permission to entrance and will loose the possibility to explore the ruins.

To book any tour, first we will confirm its availability for your specific date. Then we need to receive an advance payment (50% or full payment) according to current prices and to have your full details (no errors), which are necessary to book the entrance tickets on your behalf.

VACCINATIONS & INSURANCE
Before travelling, you should always check current information about the necessary vaccines.
We recommend you to take the vaccine against yellow fever at least one week before your travel.
Please note that to participate in any of our tours you have to have valid travel insurance. Please check the regulations and exclusions of your insurance company, especially if trekking in the high mountains or planning adventure sports.
CHECK SOME IMPORTANT POINTS
Avoid unforeseen situation by being at departure location at least one day before the beginning of the tour.
Check requirements about passports and visas to enter Peru enough time in advance.
